How to flip an image on a projector

When showing a presentation or viewing other media files, many users face the situation, when the image on the interactive whiteboard is displayed inverted. How to flip the resulting image on the projector, and why it turns over at all?

Causes of problems

This can occur by 2 main reasons.

  1. For some reason, the equipment itself is in the wrong position. Usually, this situation is typical for school classrooms and conference halls, where the device is suspended from the ceiling and fixed with special fasteners so, that it is not possible to turn it over. Adjustment in this case can be carried out by means of the control panel.
  2. The device settings are wrong. Failure of device configurations is quite common. A characteristic feature of this cause of failure will be the distortion of the projection on the interactive whiteboard, but not on the computer. The setting can be made both from the control panel, and from the equipment case.

Projector settings

Regardless of the cause of the fault, adjusting the parameters of any design device will look like this:

  • go to the system menu of your device;
  • go to the "position" or "positioning" tab;
  • depending on, in which direction the projection is inverted, select the appropriate command.

Most projectors have a function to rotate the image not only on 90, but also on 180 degrees.

BenQ

Adjusting the picture display on BenQ devices is different, that in most models the system menu is not translated into Russian. To return the image to 180 degrees required:

  • press the menu / exit button on the remote control or on the body of the device;
  • go to the setup tab;
  • select the projector position or setting line;
  • in the menu, click on the front ceiling.

After carrying out the above actions, the image on the projector will flip to 180 degrees. This setting can be made as for that, so that the inverted device displays the picture correctly, and for the installation of new equipment.

Asus

Unlike other manufacturers, Asus experts suggest the following steps to rotate the image:

  1. enter the main menu section, by pressing the corresponding key on the remote control;
  2. go to the setup section;
  3. select the reset all option.

So, you can reset the device to factory settings, if for some reason they failed. If, if the image display fee is not related to the device configuration, to rotate, select the Projector Position column.

That fact should be taken into account, that regardless of the equipment manufacturer, different models may have different system interface layouts.
