How to install a towbar on Vaz 2108, 2109 and 21099 with their own hands
The towbar is a traction coupling (TSU), which allows you to tow cars with a car. Despite the simple design, the same components will not fit on any car (a certain part is developed for a particular make or model of car).
This device consists of 2 components:
- crossbars. It must be installed in specially designed body holes or car frame;

You will need:
- Remove the rear bumper with amplifier.
- Attach the device to the rear spar.
- Make notes in the future location of the product with a pencil. The distance is measured from the vertical wall of the side mounts to the hole in the attached part.
- Find (do) on the model 2108 or 21099 4 holes in the niche for the spare wheel. To transport not too heavy loads, some drivers fix the TSU only on 2 bolts in the spare wheel well.

- connect the socket to the contacts on the taillights of the car;
- assemble it according to thermostats;
- be sure to insulate the wires when connecting, to prevent moisture ingress. It is also recommended to use soldering for better contact.
