The law speaks of liability for non-compliance with registration rules:
- driving a car with numbers, which are unidentified, non-standard or placed without complying with the requirements of the state standard, entails a fine of 170 UAH or issuing a warning;
The installation of knowingly false state signs provides for the following fines:
170 UAH (КУпАП ст. 121 part 6). In case of repeated violations during the year, the fine will increase to 255 UAH or may be replaced by community service for a period of 30 to 40 hours (KUPAP Article 121 part 7).
