  • hot;

Meanwhile, on the surface of metal workpieces, processed by cold stamping technology, no scale layer is created, while the dimensions of the finished products are more accurate, and their surface is smoother.

The radial forging machine is a forming press, preheated metal ingots are converted into finished products of cylindrical configuration. The design of presses of this type is:

  • induction furnace, in which the preheating of the workpiece;
  • conveyor for feeding the workpiece into the processing area;
  • gripping mechanisms, by means of which the detail from metal is processed, constantly rotating, passes through the forging zone;
  • worm gear, combined with an electric motor and is responsible for the operation of the gripping mechanisms;
  • four shafts with eccentric axles, transmitting the movement of the connecting rod with a striker, between which a slider is fixed (the shafts themselves are rotated by the V-belt transmission from the drive motor);
  • copy drums, responsible for the synchronous convergence of the strikers and the subsequent movement of the workpiece;
  • spring clutch, which provides braking of a detail at the moment of its processing by fights.

Electromagnetic type presses

This is a new type of pressing equipment. The principle of its operation is based on the properties of the core, placed in a wire spool, through which an electric current passes, and moves under the influence of an electromagnetic field. The core of the electromagnet of such presses affects the actuator of the machine, directing it to the workpiece of the metal.
