Disassembly and repair of a coffee grinder with your own hands

Modern coffee grinders, no doubt, reliable and productive, however, designed for specific tasks. Example, the coffee grinder may need repair, if it grinds sugar instead of coffee beans. Other models, especially produced by Bork and Bosch, suffer from the penetration of moisture into the area of the motor shaft. But in any case, if the engine has not burned out, you can repair the device with your own hands.

disassembly technology

Most coffee grinders have a fairly transparent disassembly algorithm. There are two types of devices:

  • knife coffee grinders;
  • mill mills.

The latter have a separate algorithm for disassembling the grinding mechanism. Answer to the question, how to completely disassemble a coffee grinder, depends on the specific device model. The general scheme is the same. The conical blades of the mill are fastened to the drive shaft with three or four bolts. It is easy to unscrew them. However, when reassembling, you need to carefully monitor it, so that the heads are fully included in the seats. If you assemble a mill device, that did not sink bolts, you can burn a coffee grinder, or constantly find fine metal dust in the grind because of that, that the protruding mounting heads protrude into the area of movement of the ground mechanism.

The bodies of coffee grinders are easy to disassemble. You need to unscrew a couple of screws, which are often located on the lower plane, days of the car. Access to them can be as open, and protected legs of the device.

A separate group of coffee grinders is held on latches. Example, Bosch MKM models 6000, Soviet apparatus ZMM, ECMU grinders 50 and ECM 125. Here the lower part of the case is removed by means of thin probes or screw-drivers, which bend the latches.
