Essentially, it's a gearbox, which is responsible for the speed of the spindle assembly. The reducer 1I611P with consists 4 axles, on which gears with various parameters are mounted. The drive for the gearbox is the main electric motor of the equipment, connected to it by flanges. Due to its flat guides, the gearbox can move along the rails of the cabinet, on which it is fixed by means of bolted connections, which allows you to adjust the tension of the belts. By adjusting the speed of rotation, issued by the reducer, corresponds to the preselective mechanism, controlled by a suitable flywheel.

This unit is mounted on the left end of the gearbox. For most types of threads (metric - normal accuracy) there is no need to change the gears on the guitar. In that case, if it is necessary to cut a thread of high precision, as well as modular and inch threads, replaceable gears are installed on the lathe guitar, allowing to carry out processing without use of the mechanism of a transmission. Gearbox

In the lathe 1I611P this unit has a closed structure. The characteristics of the feed box allow you to cut a metric thread with a standard pitch (0,2-48 mm) without the use of a set of variable gears.

Electrical equipment 1I611P

The main elements in the electrical circuit of the unit are three electric motors, responsible for the main movement, lubrication of equipment units and coolant supply.

All motors are of asynchronous type and work from a three-phase electric network. The electrical equipment of the lathe is connected to the power supply system by means of a batch switch.

Engine start, which drives the pump to supply the lubricant to the units of the unit, occurs by means of a magnetic starter. Only after switching on this motor and the pump itself can the main motor be started, for what the handle of the platen is used, associated with the limit switch. This handle can be placed in one of two positions: "Forward" and "Back".

Electric motor of the cooling system pump drive, which can also be started only with the lubrication system running, is switched on by means of the switch with marking "VN". There are two more electrical switches in the electrical circuit of the 1I611P lathe: "VO" - to enable local lighting of the processing area, "CT" - to slow down the main motor at that time, when the gears of the gearbox are switched on the move.
