How to make a lathe with your own hands

Making a small lathe with your own hands will be much easier, if your workshop has a workbench with a flat and strong work surface. In this case, you do not have to spend time and effort to find the frame for your lathe. Electric drill, which will simultaneously act as a front headstock and drive rotation, is fixed on such surface by means of a clamp and a collar, fixed on the neck of the tool.

Such an emphasis, which is installed in front of the fixed tool, can be made of a pair of wooden bars and an adjusting screw, the end of which is sharpened under a cone.
