How to make a circular saw with your own hands from a Bulgarian, butting, hand saw

  1. For this purpose the Bulgarian with a disk on a tree fix on a rotary lath perpendicularly to the direction of length of a board so, so that the plane of the disk is directed strictly vertically. One mounting point must be located in the area of ​​the gear unit, and the other - at the opposite end of the machine.
  2. In the case of a reducer there are threaded apertures for fastening of regular handles. By means of corners and these openings the Bulgarian needs to be attached to a mobile part of the machine.
  3. The back of the case is attached to the board with a clamp. The protective cover on the disk can be used from any power tool of the appropriate size.
  4. Closer to the vertical support you need to fix the persistent corner. It should be located strictly perpendicular to the plane of the disk, as in the vertical, and horizontal directions.

The spring at the rear end of the bar is used to return the miter saw to its original position after the cut. The horizontal table should have a transverse groove, which includes the disk when sawing the board. The diameter of the disk is chosen, focusing on the width of the boards. So butting can be done in one go. The main thing, the internal hole of the disk must coincide with the mounting on the axis of the gearbox.

When working on such a machine should be considered, that the power of the drive is not designed for heavy loads. Therefore, the rotating disk to the surface of the sawn part must be brought smoothly, make the incision without strong pressure.

Table circular saw

Sometimes it is necessary to change the width of the board or the thickness of the bar. The best option for such work is a circular saw, especially, if a lot of boards. For sawing boards of short length (1-2 m) you will need a desktop version of the circular saw. It is not necessary to buy such a machine, it can be made with your own hands from the same Bulgarian.

The design of a circular saw is much more complicated than a trimming machine. The contact time of the saw blade with wood is quite long, therefore, the reliability of the attachment of the body of the Bulgarian to the frame should be higher.

This is what one of the options for a table saw can look like.

The photo shows, that the desktop consists of two planes:

  • the top table is intended for advancement of the processed detail;

The disk passes through a groove in the upper surface. If the angle of intersection of the two planes provide swivel loops, then it will be possible to adjust the working height of the saw blade to reduce the area of ​​the friction surfaces.

The head of the bolt is clearly visible on the upper surface of the table, with which the Bulgarian is fixed. The protruding bolt limits the width of the machined board. You can deal with this problem, laying another layer of plywood.

It is rather inconvenient to switch on and off the Bulgarian button on the case. If the key can be locked in the operating position, then on the outside of the machine should be installed sockets with a switch.

The persistent corner should have the maximum possible length to avoid deviation from a board of a direction of sawing.. It is better to fasten a corner so, so that you can change the working distance between it and the disk: then the width of the cut part will also change.

Stationary circular saw

It is possible to use the Bulgarian as the working mechanism and stationary conditions. The bed in this case will have a slightly different design. The stationary option provides for the availability of free space and a large amount of work. Therefore, the whole design can be made more thorough, more massive, a, means, more reliable.

The frame of the frame can be made from the corner with a welded joint. Bolts and other types of detachable fasteners lose traction due to constant vibration, the structure begins to sway.

From above a metal framework the desktop from a wide board or thick plywood fastens. The workpiece will move on it. The persistent corner is provided with movable fastening for adjustment of width of a saw.

It would be good to adjust the height of the table or the removal of the disk above its surface - then it will be possible to cut longitudinal grooves in the board.

On the side of the machine are the controls: socket and on-off buttons. In the stationary version, it makes sense to exclude the key on the body of the Bulgarian from the scheme. If there is enough space as a drive, you can use a high-power grinder.
